Friends of the Calais Town Hall presents the Gospel Hollow Players production of “Marconi’s Wave" (opening October 2 and running through October 12).
This musical tainted fable, written and directed by Chris Colt with music by Jim Thompson, is a unique and entertaining look at the life and genius of Guglielmo Marconi who invented wireless telegraphy, which opened the door to the technology we enjoy today.

About Friends of the Calais Town Hall
The Friends of the Town Hall is a community organization established to oversee the recent renovations and maintain the day-to-day operations of the Town Hall usage.
MISSION STATEMENT: For more than a century and a half, the Calais Town Hall has been a center of the community. Friends of the Calais Town Hall, Inc., is a private, non-profit corporation founded to ensure the space continues to play a role in the town's continuing life going into the future. The organization works not only to coordinate with the Calais Town Selectboard in preserving the historical integrity of the hall and in overseeing the use of the space for non-municipal functions by interested citizens, but also to provide a broad and inclusive range of cultural and community activities that promote the vitality of Calais as a town: concerts, drama, readings, dances, exhibitions, and more. This is everyone's Town Hall; the Friends organization exists to bring people together there and make them feel welcome.
